What to expect in AAA
The Minor League AAA Division is generally intended for players League Age 9–12 years old. The AAA Division is more competitive than AA Division but the focus is still on instruction and participation. It is intended to refine individual player's skills while emphasizing team play. AAA teams typically have between 11 to 13 players, and all AAA teams are drafted each season with all players evaluated for hitting, fielding and pitching abilities prior to the player draft. AAA division games are the real deal, scores are kept and umpires officiate all games.
Practices per week: 1-2
Games per week: 1-3; AAA teams may play 12-18 six inning games during the regular season.
